At long last, I can share the Fabulous Scrap Fabric Swap project reveal! In June eight talented sewers joined me in swapping fabric for this year's event. After pairing up the sewers, scraps were mailed off to Canada, Sweden, England and various states within the US. Here are the lovely results!
Anne of My Giant Strawberry made this wonderful toy kitty, complete with dress, sweater and mouse!
Claire of Paintdrops Keep Falling fashioned these amazing travel bags in time for her trip to Italy!
Danielle of Renegade Lily made this beautiful smock top with the scraps she received.
Hanna of iHanna created a charming quilted laptop bag with her scraps.
Jess made a pretty quilted pillow from her swapped scraps.
Karen of Sew and Sow Life created a beautiful appliquéd tote bag.
Yvonne made a quilted pouch from beautiful blue scraps.
This was such a fun way to use up scraps. What do you think - should we do this again next year?
Thank you to all who participated in this year's scrap swap! It was a lot of fun to organize and I love seeing how each of you put your scraps to use. You are all wonderfully creative!
