The past weekend was a busy one! On Saturday I went to the first outdoor flea market of the season and to Art Parts Creative Reuse Center's birthday sale. At the flea market I found two tin canisters (see above photo) and at Art Parts I found a good sized piece of beautiful pale green felt. The felt is the color of sea foam - gorgeous on the dolls for spring!
All in all, Saturday was pretty great!
Then on Sunday my mother-in-law had a medical emergency necessitating a trip to the emergency room and spent the day undergoing tests. Fortunately it turned out to be a lot less serious than it seemed at the time. She was complaining of numbness on one side of her face but multiple tests showed no sign of stroke, heart attack or eminent danger. The doctor felt the numbness may have been a pinched nerve or perhaps dental in nature. We will follow up with her regular doctor but today she said her face feels normal again. Whew!
This week my sister-in-law arrives for a visit and we are hopeful that MIL will be active and happy while she is here. They haven't seen each other since last October and we have fun excursions planned for them.
I hope your weekend was calmer than mine!
