Did you have fun at the doll's virtual tea party (#sweetdollteaparty)? The Garden Party Girls had a blast outside in the garden. They served blackberry tea and lemon crème almonds to snack on. It was so much fun I have extended the online party through the holiday weekend. Add your doll tea party snaps through Monday to the #sweetdollteaparty hashtag. Get all the details here.
Above are my tea party participants, from left to right: Jemma, Camille, April, Rosie, Tory and little Bella, my newest doll. Bella and her sisters are coming to my shop in June, see below for more sneak peeks. The other dolls are available now in PinkGingerKitty, along with lots of hats and accessories if you are tempted to add a doll to your collection.
Bella, the youngest attendee, was well looked after by the older girls who plied her with plenty of lemon crème almonds. Bella is about half the size of my Garden Party Girl dolls and makes a sweet companion doll.
Did you notice my new doll bench? It was $1.99 at the thrift store. Its made of bamboo and was probably a shelf for the bathroom or knickknacks. I spray painted it glossy white and now it is a cute day bed. I'll have to sew up a mattress and pillows for it to make it extra comfy for the dolls.
This is Emily Rose, one of Bella's sisters and part of my new "Sweet Friends" doll collection. These dolls are dainty and girly, with removable aprons and tulle underskirts. They make a darling doll friend for the little girls in your family. I will reveal the whole collection online and in my shop on June 4th so stay tuned!
We are celebrating Memorial Day weekend here in the States and I'm so excited that my sister is arriving for a visit! I will be taking a blog break to spend time with her, from now through next Friday. You can follow my exploits on Instagram if you want to see what we're up to.
Enjoy your weekend! I'll see you back here on June 4th.
