I've been reading art books lately, studying colorful works by Warhol, Picasso, Monet and Matisse. Its no mystery why when you look outside. Despite sunny days and bright blue skies we have at least a month of winter white/beige to endure before the flowers return.
If you have Photoshop CS4 or later, its simple to colorize your photos. Here's how:
Open your photo in Photoshop and invert the colors (Image/Adjustment/Invert). Use the hue sliders to change the photo to a range you like (Image/Adjustment/Hue-Saturation).
Select the sky area using the magic wand tool (or use select/color range). Change it to a gradient using colors that coordinate with your hues (gradient tool and color picker). I chose a color plus white for my gradients.
Save your file under a new name and voila! You've made a "Warhol" from your photo!
