I just love your recipes....question about your apple spice bread recipe,can I use the now-in-season-yummy honey crisp apples? And with the same amount of spices?


Thanks everyone. To answer your question, Cathy B., you can use any apples with this recipe since they are diced small and are not dependent on keeping their shape. The spices remain the same unless you prefer more or less of something.


FYI: Kathy B. made this recipe into muffins and said it works great. She advised 20 minutes baking time, until top springs back when touched.

Remember with this recipe you can bake and freeze, which makes it ideal for the holidays and gift giving!! I'm on by 3 batch!!
